Our Story
Research shows that burnout recovery can take anywhere from six months to several years. For me, it took six months—not just to rest from an exhausting job, but to dismantle the deeply internalized beliefs that left me feeling like a failure, despite my accomplishments. Staying in that role for six years had gradually eroded my sense of self-worth, transforming me in ways I didn’t recognize. My experience was like an elephant that escaped a cage, only to find that its mind had constructed a new one.
My recovery took six months because it required a profound mental, emotional, and physical transformation to rebuild the confidence and sense of worth I had lost. I went from knowing my infinite worth to believing that I wasn't enough—that despite all my efforts, I wasn’t worthy of being seen, heard, respected, cared for, or loved. Burnout recovery is challenging because it demands this deep level of healing, and the fact that this experience is common in workplaces today is an urgent call to action.
